The Owens family is a long line of witches, bound by an ancient curse that condemns its women to never experience love fully. Twenty-five years after the events of the first film, the family is once again forced to confront the past when a discovery about the origins of their magic brings to light dark secrets that have remained hidden for centuries.
Sisters Gillian and Sally Owens (Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock), together with their aunts, must join forces once again to face the threat looming over the family. Complicating matters is Kylie (Joey King), Sally's daughter, who begins to display increasingly disturbing powers. In an attempt to uncover the truth about her origins, she ends up awakening dark forces connected to the history of their bloodline.
To finally break the curse, the Owens women will have to venture beyond the boundaries of their home in Massachusetts and travel all the way to the United Kingdom, in search of the source of their magic.
Amid family secrets, ancestral powers and sacrifices, three generations of witches will be forced to fight together to finally give the next generation the chance to choose their own destiny.
