This experience stems from the belief that critical thinking is built through encounter. Every year, hundreds of students engage in dialogue with philosophers, scholars and leading figures in contemporary culture, discussing the most pressing issues of our time. Not a traditional lesson, but an experience of listening, participation and exchange that gives young people an active role in shaping public debate.

The scientific and educational heart of the Festival. More than one hundred scholars, researchers, professionals and young speakers from Italian and international universities, schools and institutions take turns in four thematic rooms, creating an interdisciplinary dialogue on freedom. Alongside the sessions in Italian, the Festival hosts numerous conferences in English with guests from universities abroad, strengthening its international dimension and opening up to the international audience visiting the island. The Young Thinkers Festival sessions feature students and teachers as protagonists of conferences and dialogues, reaffirming the Festival’s commitment to fostering an authentic exchange between generations.
